For Current Dietetic Students

The 2013 course dates for Year 2 MDiet students are as follows:

SEMESTER 1
HUND 477 Professional Placement, 25 February-5 June, 2013 [65 days excluding stat and mid-semester holidays]
HUND 5B Thesis, 4 February-30 June, 2013 (hand in date) 21 weeks.

SEMESTER 2
HUND 477 Professional Placement, 22 July-25 October, 2013 [65 days excluding mid-semester holidays]
HUND 5B Thesis, 8 July-30 November, 2013 (hand in date) 21 weeks.

Communication

Email communications to students will be sent to student webmail address. Students should check their emails regularly - daily during term time would not be too often.
Students can chose to forward their student emails to another email address that they prefer to use. For details on how this is done through PIMS see your copy of Otago Distance Learning, Information and Support.
Students need to ensure their contact details are correct, both with the Dietetic Office and on the University information system. If your contact details change, please inform Lyn Tyrrell, and make the changes on your PIMS record. Failure to do so is the most common cause of not receiving your University exam results.
